Local builders.Family name.
K & D Whelan Construction Ltd is a building and civil engineering contractor based at Newhall, Ennis. We have been building across County Clare since 1999.
What started as a small building business has grown into a firm that handles everything from site works and drainage to finished homes, commercial units and farm buildings.
We have stayed family run on purpose. It means the people who price your job are the people who build it, and they are still here when you need them years later.
We are proud to back our community, including sponsoring local sport such as St Joseph's Doora Barefield Camogie Club.
How we work
Do it once, do it right
We would rather spend an extra hour on a detail than come back to fix it. Good work is cheaper in the long run.
Say what we will do
Clear prices, honest programmes and a phone that gets answered. No surprises at the end of the job.
Look after the site
Safe, tidy and respectful, whether we are working in your kitchen, your farmyard or on a public road.
Building and civil, under one roof.
Because we carry out civil engineering and groundworks as well as building, we control the whole job from the ground up. That means fewer subcontractors, tighter programmes and one team accountable for the result.
